Rainforest Foods has a philosophy we call "shared earth". We believe that we all share a responsibility to protect the earth and to improve the lives of those who need a helping hand.
Rainforest Foods was founded in 2008 to source high quality superfoods from environmentally conscious and ethical suppliers. In the last eight years our business has grown and evolved, however this original goal still guides what we do.
We are dedicated to serving our customers and our farmers, but also Nature itself. We do this by working with various charitable, environmental and humanitarian projects.
We believe in giving back and donate 10% of company profits to charity. This includes charities such as Rainforest Concern and other charities focused on environmental and social issues.

We feel strongly about supporting the areas of rich biodiversity where our superfoods are nurtured. This is why we've partnered with Rainforest Concern.
Rainforest Concern has more than 20 years experience in rainforest conservation - protecting threatened natural habitats, the biodiversity they contain and the indigenous people who still depend on them for their survival.
For every pack of Rainforest Foods products sold, we will donate funds to Rainforest Concern to purchase one square meter of cloud forest in the Neblina Reserve of Ecuador.

Warka Water is an experimental design project aiming to provide a reliable source of clean drinking water to remote communities in Ethiopia.
Warka ‘Towers’ absorb water from the atmosphere in the form of dew, fog and condensation. Although the project is still in its prototype phase, it is anticipated that the final product will be able to collect up to 100 litres of water per day - water that can be used for drinking, as well as irrigation and agricultural purposes.
